Logistics Operations Manager

Job Description : LOGISTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER DUBAI Job Duties and Responsibilities : • Improve monthly rolling forecast sent to the shipping lines / carriers / forwarders and ensure forecast data is compliant with the actual orders in the system. • Ensure monthly closing with all origins and forwarders/3PL are completed within deadline. Work CFS volumes optimization program and single CFS project to avoid less utilized containers to be shipped. • Supervise all forwarder’s billing activity and manage all financial transactions and compliance of Logistics department such as deadfreight follow up, claim management, validate logistics claims to be compensated to clients or carriers etc. • Make sure the shipment window was respected and support to solve the problems with the shipping line, organize the goods transportation in respect of delivery time. • Make sure the full compliance and follow up of the web SI suite. Job Requirements and Qualifications : • At least 10 years working experience in maritime or logistics area, and at least 5 years in a managerial role. • Hands-on experience in the operational services export/ logistics/ transport flows. • Very good sense of priority and time management. • Strategic vision, think ahead and strong leadership to coach & develop the team members. • Very good communication skills and problem solving capability, can work under the high pressure. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, major in logistics management or international transport.
