My client-a well-established gold mining company operating in West Africa is seeking an Operations Director/COO to join their senior leadership team. This is a critical role overseeing underground and surface mining operations, mine technical services, processing, maintenance & engineering, and safety, health, and environment. The mission is to drive operational performance, enhance interdepartmental collaboration, and contribute to long-term strategic growth. Ideal Candidate Profile: ???? Degree in mining engineering. ???? 10+ years’ experience in mine operations within developing nations, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role in underground gold mining. ????
