Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager – Flexo Printing & Packaging | Uganda ???? Department: Production / Operations ???? Reports To: Plant Head / GM / Factory Manager If you have 12 years of experience in flexographic printing, including 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory role, and are passionate about production efficiency, team leadership, and quality excellence — this could be your next big move! ???? Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end flexographic printing operations Lead a team of operators, shift in-charges, and support staff Ensure quality, safety, cost control, and production targets are consistently met Optimize machine uptime and workflow Troubleshoot issues related to press, ink, substrate, and more ???? Preferred Experience: Familiarity with machines like Rotatec Web Offset, Omet, Lombardi, Abmac Flexo, Lineomatic, and others used in flexible packaging and paper bag production. ???? Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Printing/Packaging/Mechanical Engineering Strong understanding of flexo machines, ERP systems, and lean manufacturing principles
