Distribution Manager

Job Description : DISTRIBUTION MANAGER CUBA Distribution Managers are primarily tasked with managing day-to-day operations in a warehouse or distribution center. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service in the distribution center. Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency. Arranging warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments. Resolving any arising problems or complaints related to distribution. Supervising, coaching, and training warehouse workforce. Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Maintaining metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements. Education and Certification Requirements To qualify for a position as a Distribution Manager, candidates typically need: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. Relevant work experience can sometimes substitute for educational requirements, depending on the employer. Proven experience as a distribution manager or in a similar managerial role. Experience in managing a team and working with supply chain and logistics software.
