Job Description : Business Head TANZANIA Reporting to : COO Experience: 15+ years Ideally experienced in Packaging industry / having developed and led business in Africa. Education: Post Graduate Preferably with a degree in Printing / Packaging Value Proposition of this assignment : - This position is responsible for building and managing Tanzania business. Tanzania is key geography amongst the African landscape with potential business and further potential to grow. - This will be a challenging assignment to be part of Management Committee and contribute towards an aggressive growth-oriented organization, leveraging synergies of our existing legacy . - This is an excellent entrepreneurial and leadership opportunity to lead S&M and operations for one of our emerging country business. - The incumbent will be entitled for a competitive compensation package. - Appropriate support on key benefits (like housing, conveyance, schooling, medical, home passage etc) will be provided for Expats. Key Activities & Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership and Direction - Develop and execute the country specific business strategy aligned with overall Objectives - Set, Plan and achieve growth, profitability and operational targets - Lead market expansion and new business development initiatives - Ensure the company's competitive position within local and regional markets. Operational Management - Oversee all manufacturing and production facilities in the country, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. - Manage the supply chain and logistics operations to ensure timely product delivery. - Implement and monitor performance metrics and KPIs across operations. - Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Sales & Marketing Leadership - Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase market share and meet revenue goals. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers - Drive brand awareness and product promotion across the country/region by participating in Exhibitions / conferences - Lead negotiations with large clients and customers to secure long-term contracts. - Recruits, inspire, develop, manage a growing team of sales professionals and network of channel partners who will deliver high standard of sales across all identified markets - Ensures quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery - Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies. Financial Management - Prepare and manage the country's budget, forecasting, and financial performance. - Monitor cost control measures and profitability while ensuring financial targets are met. - Evaluate and mitigate financial risks related to operations and market changes. Team Leadership and Development - Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. - Foster a positive organizational culture based on collaboration, innovation, and accountability. - Ensure that staff training, development, and performance management processes are in place. Stakeholder Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management and key stakeholders. - Ensure strong communication and alignment between the country's operations and corporate headquarters. - Represent the company in industry associations, conferences, and relevant events within the country.
