Vice President

Job Description : Vice President (Unit Head) for a leading copper and cobalt mining company in Central Africa. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end copper & cobalt operations: mining, crushing, milling, leaching, SX-EW, smelting. Oversee large teams, budgets (OPEX & CAPEX), and P&L for mining and production units. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations; foster a strong safety culture. Drive operational excellence through KPIs, strategic planning, and innovation. Engage with internal and external stakeholders; lead bi-monthly performance reviews. Implement sustainability and risk management strategies. Requirements: Proven leadership in copper/cobalt mining or metallurgy operations. Strong knowledge of extraction, processing, and regulatory standards. Project management experience in large-scale mining operations.
