Internal Audit Head

Job Description : Head Of Internal Audits Location: - Muscat, Oman We are looking for a dedicated & experienced Head of Internal Audits to join our team. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a business-related field. Master’s degree is preferred. · Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Chartered Accountant (CA), and/ or ACCA. · Minimum of 15 years of experience in internal auditing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a publicly listed company. · Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and corporate governance. · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. · Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing audit teams. Key responsibilities: - • Support CAE in developing and implementing a comprehensive internal audit plan aligned with the company's strategic objectives. • Lead and manage internal audit projects, ensuring compliance with established procedures and guidelines. • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. • Identify and assess areas of potential risk and recommend corrective actions to mitigate these risks. • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the CAE, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
