As a General Manager in Research & Development within the Pharmaceutical industry, your role will be pivotal in providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team. You will be responsible for proposing innovative solutions that leverage the company's specialty manufacturing capabilities. Your input will be crucial in prioritising projects that achieve proposed business targets. You will also play a key role in developing the contract testing framework to better manage analytical testing development. Provide directions and a systemic approach to Research and Development Propose execution framework and operational targets to increase innovation in a cost-effective manner Provide advice on focus areas to improve export dossier quality for ethical and key brands in Consumer Healthcare Monitor expenses spending on a day-to-day basis and recommend areas for savings Invest in strategic technology platforms and services to prepare for faster turnaround time for R&D with a lean workforce Coach key individuals to be sensitive to the needs of Timeliness, Innovation, Cost Effectiveness and knowledgeable culture As the General Manager (Research & Development, Pharmaceutical), you bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry. With at least 20 years of experience under your belt, you are well-versed with the latest trends and requirements in this field. Your technical skills are complemented by your strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and exceptional organisational skills. Your PHD in any science-related field further enhances your suitability for this role.
