General Manager Security

Job Description : GM Head Security & Vigilance, Pan India (Telecom) Education Qualifications: MBA & Others Experience: 20+yrs Location : Mumbai Corporate Office Job Responsibilities: - Accountable for assuring security of Employees, Visitors, Assets controlling Pan-India security. - Devise and effectuate risk policies & managing risks; implementing effective mechanisms to mitigate the same. - Develop and implement security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security. - Implementing stringent systems (Integrated electronic security systems, access control, CCTV and associated software- s)/ measures to establish and maintain high security standards in compliance with prescribed statutory norms. - Accountable for the overall coordination of the organization's response to a crisis, in an effective, timely manner; planning disaster/ emergency management programs. - Liaising with all types of government agencies/ institutions/corporations/ministries at state level & central level for investigations of major cases - Investigate cases, collect intelligence & carry out verification of the information, prevention / detection of Fraud/ crime. Collate information during investigations and assist in resolution of cases registered; preparing Intelligence / Investigation Reports. - Plan and manage the security of the entire National Operations, Properties and Assets ensuring the business is adequately protected against all known risks & threats typical of safety & security of premises & personnel - Preparing and reviewing contingency plans and emergency preparedness to deal with all kind of emergencies. - To optimize costs and the other resources so as to manage the Security Services within and lower than the approved budget. - Lay down process of Audit to assure that the services are of high quality, responsive and fully optimized. - Accountable for managing relation with all related external agencies (including but not limited to local administration and police authorities, statutory bodies etc) Requirements: 1.Knowledge of CrPc, IPC, Private Security Agency Regulation Act (PSARA), Maharashtra Security Guard Board Act and Labour laws etc. 2.Knowledge regarding prevention and management of disaster, Fire & Safety rules and regulation. 3.Knowledge of latest Investigative and interrogation analytical techniques and procedures 4.Knowledge of developing and implementing a Business Continuity Plan as per the risk management strategy of the organization
