Job Description : SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER MALAYSIA An industry-leading manufacturer of flow measurement and control products is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This role will be based in their brand-new facility in Penang, Malaysia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on critical applications in high-tech end markets such as semiconductor, life sciences, bio-pharmaceuticals, chemicals, analytical instrumentation, nuclear, and solar cells. * Opportunity to work in a brand-new facility * Involvement in high-tech end markets * Part of a global Fortune 200 company As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, your role will be pivotal in supporting production processes and daily operations for new and existing products. You will use your skills to drive the attainment of quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Your ability to develop processes, provide technical expertise, estimate production times, interface with Design Engineering on new product introductions, assist Sustaining Engineering in fixture design improvements will be crucial. You will also support hardware and software validations on production equipment prior to release to operations. Your role will involve improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. You will also support new product development by leading pre-pilot and pilot activities. * Develop processes and changes to process instructions by studying product requirements * Provide technical expertise and maintenance related to manufacturing and production equipment * Estimate production times, capacity analysis, staffing requirements, and related costs for new designs or existing products * Interface with Design Engineering on new product design and introduction * Assist Sustaining Engineering in the development of fixture design or improve existing fixtures for quality assurance * Support hardware and software validations on production equipment prior to release to operations * Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout * Support new product development by leading pre-pilot and pilot activities * Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to manufacturing key performance indicators * Review, communicate, and implement engineering change orders to sustain production, reduce cost, and improve yield As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you bring a wealth of experience from your 7+ years in the field. Your strong interpersonal skills coupled with your proficiency in both English & Bahasa Malaysia make you an effective communicator. Your strong computer skills including Power BI, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint enable you to efficiently manage tasks. Your knowledge of ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and/or Kaizen is crucial in this role. Your good analytical skills enable you to see problems and recommend sound solutions. * BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Preferred) * 12+ years manufacturing Engineering experience * Experience in electro-mechanical or flow controls industry preferred * Conversant with both English & Bahasa Malaysia * Strong interpersonal and communications skills * Strong computer skills including Power BI, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint * Knowledge of ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and/or Kaizen * Good analytical skills
