Job Description : LNG HSE MANAGER NIGERIA Policy Development & Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies in alignment with legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines. Risk Assessment & Prevention: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop preventive strategies specific to cryogenic and LNG operations. Training & Awareness: Organize and deliver safety training sessions to employees, ensuring awareness and understanding of safety and environmental practices and legislation.Job Search | Indeed Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor compliance with HSE policies through regular site inspections and audits, preparing detailed reports on findings and corrective actions. Emergency Response & Incident Investigation: Lead emergency response initiatives and conduct investigations after incidents to establish causes and preventive measures. Specialist Advisory: Provide expert advice on areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, occupational health diseases, and waste management.Job Search | Indeed+1Job Search | Indeed+1 Regulatory Liaison: Maintain current knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements related to HSE matters impacting LNG or cryogenic plants, collaborating with internal leadership and external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance. Documentation & Record Keeping: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to HSE initiatives, including inspection forms, training modules, and compliance records. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 15 years in HSE roles within the oil, gas, or LNG industry, with hands-on experience in cryogenic or LNG plant operations. Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications. Additional certifications in industrial/process safety are advantageous. Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in HSE management systems and regulatory compliance.
