Job Description : GM MINING OMAN Head of Mining Division - /Mining & Quarrying Division Job purpose : Heading the Mining, Quarrying and Exploration Division Core Responsibilities : 1. Responsible for the achievement of the Annual Financial Budgets (Profitability and Cashflow) and the KPIs of the Division 2. Driving all the Mining and Exploration Projects on a day-to-day basis to achieve the targets set for each of such projects 3. Playing an effective role in technical services like geological mapping, geophysical survey, core drilling etc in the existing and new projects. 4. To develop Geology and Mineral resource estimation expertise within the division 5. Liaising with various stakeholders, departments and peers for operational matters 6. Technically and financially evaluating new opportunities and projects and guiding Top Management for correct decision-making. 7. Continuously evaluating and introducing new technologies that can bring in more efficiency in the mining and exploration operations of the Company 8. Identifying and appointing the right Technical Consultants for various activities in mining and exploration, monitoring their works and achieving the ultimate outcome. - Around 20 years of relevant experience post qualification - Working experience with SAP will be an added advantage - Having some qualification in the field of Finance shall be an additional advantage - Strong personality - Crystal clear communication - Good Analytical skills - Action & Solution oriented MSc Geology English - Fluent (required) - BASE METALS EXPOSURE & WORKING - GOLD / PHOSPHATE / POTASH / URANIUM / COPPER / RUTILE We would wish to highlight the following in your profile : Mining and Geology Head should have predominantly expertise of : 1.
