Job Description : Vice President (Unit Head) Location: Central Africa Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities 1. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of copper and cobalt production units. 2. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. 3. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop large teams. 4. Cost and Budget Management: Develop, control, and manage OPEX and CAPEX. 5. Strategic Planning and Performance Improvement: Develop strategies to enhance operational performance. 6. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. 7. Sustainability and Innovation: Drive sustainability initiatives. 8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks. Requirements 1. Education: Master's degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. MBA from a top-tier B-school. 2. Experience: 20+ years in copper and/or cobalt mining or metallurgy operations, with leadership experience.
