Job Description : KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (KAM) – HEAVY EARTHMOVING EQUIPMENT – AFRICA Based at a mine in Africa Single Status FIFO, but Married Status will be considered USD package We are hunting for a dynamic/live wire & experienced Heavy Earthmoving Key Account Manager for a client in Africa. The incumbent will : =Be responsible for providing coordination, liaison, proactive promotional and technical support for key Client Accounts, being the central figure in the relationship between our client and their Key Accounts =ensure that our client provides excellence in Product Support, with key objectives Key Objectives include: *The KAM plays a critical role in building and sustaining long-term relationships with key account customers. *Develops, implements, and maintains sound Key Account Management principles, ensuring key strategic engagement through all the levels of the organization thus ensuring a customer-centric approach. *Be the single point of contact for customer management. *Promote Safe Operation and support of equipment, striving for Zero Harm *Product Support Sales development and continuity, achieving assigned account directives. *Relationship management, effectively handling complaints and challenges in a timely manner. *Develop and implement multitiered maintenance planning strategy, in collaboration with Key Accounts. *Effective utilization of Condition Monitoring and Technology, to provide holistic Product Support services. *Liaison and follow up on technical issues *Follow up on debt and supply process *Develop growth opportunities striving for profitable growth, achieving set business plan Important Requirements: =University level Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 10+ years of experience in customer service and service operation field =Excellent command of English – written and spoken =IMPORTANT: Excellent KAM track record and must currently or recently have been in a similar position – manging large and key mining clients for a CAT/Komatsu/Hitachi/Volvo equipment dealer =Africa expat experience will be preferred
