Project Manager
15 yearsJob Description : PROJECT MANAGER GHANA accomplished Project Manager with a minimum of 16 years of experience to lead the end-to-end execution of a luxury high-rise building project. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of construction, from planning and mobilization through to completion and handover. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex, large-scale developmentscoordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, cost control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Leadership Direct all stages of high-rise construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Lead project planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout, providing direction across architecture, structure, MEP, finishes, and external works. Ensure that project objectives are achieved without compromising on safety, quality, or sustainability standards. Construction Management Oversee site operations and ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies. Monitor project milestones, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity. Manage construction logistics, including the deployment and operation of cranes, hoists, batching plants, and other essential equipment. Budget & Cost Control Develop and monitor detailed project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-efficiency. Track expenditures, manage procurement schedules, and oversee subcontractor billing and variations. Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising functionality or design intent. Quality Assurance & Safety Implement robust quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to uphold workmanship and material standards. Lead the enforcement of health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site. Promote a safety-first culture through regular audits, toolbox talks, and compliance training. Contract & Documentation Management Ensure timely preparation and approval of all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and as-built records. Oversee contract administration, managing claims, change orders, and dispute resolution in coordination with legal and commercial teams. Team Leadership Provide strategic leadership and direction to multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors. Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship, clear communication, and accountability. Identify skill gaps and support staff development through coaching and continuous improvement initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Experience: Minimum of 16 years in the construction industry with demonstrable experience managing high-rise building projects of significant scale and complexity. Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
