10 yearsJob Description : GROUP FLEET MANAGER PNG Group Mining Fleet Manager | Expatriate Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Group Mining Fleet Manager to oversee the operational performance and strategic management of mining fleet assets across multiple mine sites in Papua New Guinea. This is a critical leadership role in a well-established and growing mining services business with a strong reputation for safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full mining fleet including heavy equipment, light vehicles, and mobile plant assets. Oversee maintenance planning, preventive schedules, and asset lifecycle management. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards across all locations. Drive fuel efficiency, equipment utilisation, and downtime reduction strategies. Coordinate with site managers, OEM suppliers, and technical teams to optimise fleet performance. Develop reporting systems to track productivity, costs, and key KPIs across operations. Lead a team of supervisors, fitters, and support staff, ensuring skills development and workforce efficiency. What We’re Looking For Minimum 10 years of fleet or asset management experience in mining or heavy industry. Strong technical understanding of mining equipment (e.g. CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi). Demonstrated success in leading cross-site operations or group-level responsibilities. Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and planning skills. Prior experience in developing countries or remote FIFO environments is highly regarded. Trade qualification or relevant mechanical/engineering background preferred.
