Group Parts Manager

Job Description : Group Parts Inventory Manager PNG to lead the coordination and management of spare parts and maintenance stock across multiple operational mining sites. This strategic role ensures that critical components are readily available to support maintenance teams, reduce equipment downtime, and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee inventory control processes for parts and consumables across group sites · Implement and maintain inventory management systems and reporting tools · Liaise with maintenance teams to forecast needs and avoid stockouts · Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement · Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline parts tracking and warehousing · Ensure compliance with HSE and operational procedures related to parts storage and handling Candidate Requirements: · Proven experience in parts inventory and maintenance management, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial services · Strong working knowledge of ERP and inventory software systems · Ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations · Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and analytical thinking · Previous experience working in remote or developing country locations preferred
