Job Description : VP MINING PAN AFRICA 25+ years experience Vice President - Mining (Copper, Cobalt, Zinc, Tin) We are seeking an experienced VP Mining to direct and guide mining activities in our company's portfolio. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in international mining operations, a strong background in mine development, and a proven track record of achieving targets and deadlines while ensuring safe and economically viable mining practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead mining operations and projects from development to delivery - Ensure safe and economically viable mining practices - Develop and implement mine plans and strategies - Manage and maintain excellent operations and standards - Direct and guide mining teams - Assist in developing plans for progress and growth - Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness - Contribute to training and development of the team - Advise on mid to long-term mine planning and optimization of operations - Lead feasibility studies and assess site viability - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and community standards Requirements: - Proven experience in mining operations and management - Strong knowledge of mining regulations, codes, and standards - Excellent project management and leadership skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills - Full driving license
