Group Marketing Manager

Job Description : GROUP MARKETING MANAGER NIGERIA - Work with functional areas such as sales, production, and finance to ensure the proper implementation of the marketing plan (e.g., financial forecasting, sales, pricing, sponsorship, and advertising programs). - Lead new product development, line extension, and related marketing activities, such as product launches, press conferences, promotions, and advertising. - Bring management focus to problems and opportunities for respective product lines. - Responsible for ensuring alignment across the Sales , Marketing and export teams. - Led in-market delivery of all trade-facing brand activities, ensuring execution excellence. - Manage the A&P budget for the region, planning activations and promotions of key agency principals that drive equity and brand awareness. - Responsible for working closely with key customers to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance. - Manage and evaluate trade promotion levels to achieve maximum returns. - Lead a team of in-house graphic designers and plan and oversee day-to-day activities of design work - Develop annual product line marketing plan and budget and ensure compatibility with overall corporate objectives. Qualifications and Skills: - Master's in marketing - Proven experience in marketing or advertising in a similar role in the FMCG sector. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with internal and external teams. - Experience in multiple specialty areas, such as planning and executing activations, promotions, events, agency management, etc. - Ability to interpret marketing vision and drive value-adding insights to increase market share or drive volumes. - Globally minded and able to demonstrate cross-cultural understanding and sensitivity.
