Finance and Accounts Head

Job Description : FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS HEAD NIGERIA Lead the Finance & Accounts department for the companys Nigerian operations. Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP. Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling for business planning. Ensure compliance with local tax laws (VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing) and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliation functions. Monitor internal financial controls and systems to safeguard company assets and ensure proper financial governance. Liaise with banks for funding, forex management, and treasury operations. Support the leadership team with MIS reports, cost analysis, and strategic financial inputs. Handle external audits, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions. Experience in ERP implementation or usage (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) is a plus. Provide mentorship to junior finance team members and ensure a high-performance culture. Key Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15 to 19 years of post-qualification experience. Prior international exposure (preferably in Africa or Nigeria) is an added advantage. Strong command over accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial planning. Hands-on experience in managing cross-functional teams and dealing with senior stakeholders. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
