Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR SINGAPORE seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director for a 3-year contract based in Singapore. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to oversee key aspects of financial management, including accounting, General Ledger, and financial reporting across APAC entities. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop local finance teams, consolidate group financials, manage external audits, and provide strategic financial insights at an executive level. As a Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's operations across APAC. Your expertise in managing distributed finance teams will be crucial in ensuring smooth business operations. You will be responsible for consolidating group financials in line with international accounting standards while also supporting strategic initiatives alongside the Group CFO. Your ability to manage external audits effectively while strengthening internal controls will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your insightful analysis will guide executive decision-making processes. Oversee key spectrum of financial management including accounting, General Ledger, and financial reporting for all BDC entities across APAC Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting and regulatory compliance in each operating country Lead and develop local finance teams across APAC to support business operations Consolidate group financials and ensure alignment with international accounting standards Partner with Group CFO and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, investments, and operational growth Manage external audits, coordinate with auditors across jurisdictions, and ensure clean audit results Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and reporting processes across the group Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure financial health of the organization Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support executive decision-making The ideal candidate for this Finance Director role brings a wealth of experience in accounting, tax, and compliance across APAC. With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation as well as professional qualifications such as CPA or CA under your belt, you are well-equipped to handle the technical aspects of this role. Your experience in managing distributed finance teams and multi-country reporting structures will be invaluable in this position. A solid understanding of IFRS and local GAAPs in major APAC markets is essential, as is a proven track record in financial leadership and team development. Experience in infrastructure, real estate, or data centre industries will be considered a strong advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation Strong technical background in accounting, tax, and country-level compliance across APAC CPA, CA, or other professional accounting qualification required Experience managing distributed finance teams and multi-country reporting structures Solid understanding of IFRS and local GAAPs in major APAC markets Proven track record in financial leadership, team development, and partnering with senior stakeholders Experience in infrastructure, real estate, or data centre industries is a strong plus Comfortable in dealing with China based stakeholders
