Job Description : Senior Operations Director - Onshore Oil & Gas EPC Projects (United Arab Emirates) We are seeking a dynamic Senior Operations Director to be based in the UAE, responsible for delivering complex onshore oil and gas projects for major National Oil Companies across the Middle East. We require an exceptional leader with a proven track record of excellence and innovation to oversee operations and ensure high-quality delivery. Position Overview As Operations Director, you will spearhead the project delivery operations, leading multi-disciplinary teams in executing high-value EPC projects while ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and client satisfaction. This role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to work with prestigious clients in the region. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic leadership for multiple concurrent EPC projects, overseeing the project lifecycle from conception through commissioning. - Drive operational excellence and maintain the highest standards of QHSE performance across all projects. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NOCs, contractors, and regulatory bodies. - Lead and develop high-performing project teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Optimize resource allocation and ensure project profitability while maintaining quality standards. - Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery capabilities. - Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies across the project portfolio. Drive business development initiatives and contribute to the company's growth strategy. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field). - Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements and business practices with a strong network within the regional oil and gas industry. - A proven track record of experience with Tier-1 oil and gas EPC organizations and delivering on ADNOC projects. - Accomplished professionals with 20-25 years (maximum) of demonstrated experience in oil and gas EPC projects, including a minimum of 8 years in senior leadership positions that showcase strategic oversight and project delivery excellence. - A history of successfully delivering large-scale onshore EPC projects valued at over $500M in the Middle East. - Strong understanding of project management methodologies and international engineering standards. - Exceptional leadership qualities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and strong communication abilities.
