Plantation Director

Job Description : PLANTATION DIRECTOR IVC Ensure regular and effective management of the staff and activities of the Plantations Department. Participate in defining the UAI investment plan Work closely with the UAI and Agricultural Production Directorates to define the scope, objectives and expectations of the Plantation Directorate's projects Define and defend the budget of the Plantation Directorate to the general management Guarantee the UAI optimal production of sugar cane and various crops within the planned timeframes Promoting good cultural practices Coordinate the production of varieties with high yield potential Guarantee to the UAI the availability of roads and tracks suitable for vehicles (in good condition) within the planned timeframes Study with the head of technical service the projects for the creation and maintenance of roads and tracks Regularly ensure that the roads and tracks of the UAI are kept in good working order Contribute to the safety and good health of the staff of the Plantation Directorate Participate in defining occupational health and safety objectives and work towards achieving these objectives. The Successful Applicant With a higher education in agronomy or equivalent, you have at least 18 years of experience in the field of agricultural production, specifically sugar cane. You are proficient in cultivation techniques, irrigation techniques and tools, strategic planning, as well as the financial and budgetary aspects of operating a plantation. You have successfully managed multidisciplinary teams.
