Job Description : PLANT HEAD KENYA FOR SUGAR The incumbent will be responsible for organizing, directing, and coordinating all activities related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent objectives and fully implementing the manufacturing strategies that support the annual plant objectives. Key Responsibilities: Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Formulate business plans for the above and monitor the progress Short term goal setting for the functioning of each department to achieve the overall business goals Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Manufacturing function to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards. Build teamwork for smooth functioning between departments and review performance regularly Maintain a healthy and safe environment for employees and the community at large Create a culture of shared resources. Monitor statutory compliance Implement new initiatives Dealing with the public and the government Maintain smooth and cordial industrial relations
