Supply Chain Manager 

Job Description : Supply Chain Manager (Contract Manufacturing Background) Location - UAE The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading and optimising the complete supply chain function, including procurement, inventory planning, production scheduling, warehousing, and logistics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth, cost-effective, and timely flow of raw materials and finished goods across the organisation. The position ensures supply chain alignment with production and sales targets while maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement & Supplier Management Source and manage suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and third-party services. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and lead times to achieve cost-efficiency and product quality. Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strategic supplier relationships. 2. Production Planning & Inventory Management Develop and maintain accurate production and demand forecasts. Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to prevent stock-outs or overstocking. Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and stock reconciliations. 3. Warehousing & Storage Operations Oversee warehousing operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, storage conditions, and space optimisation. Ensure proper storage, handling, and labelling of materials and finished goods. Implement warehouse safety, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and material tracking systems. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and manage service-level agreements. 4. Logistics & Distribution Manage domestic and international shipments, including freight, customs, and delivery coordination. Ensure timely dispatches aligned with customer orders and production output. Optimise logistics costs through route planning, freight negotiation, and carrier performance monitoring. 5. Supply Chain Optimisation Identify process improvements across procurement, warehousing, and logistics. Implement best practices in lean supply chain management and automation tools. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular management reports. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Production, QA/QC, R&D, Sales, and Finance teams to align supply chain operations with business needs. Support new product launches by ensuring timely procurement and supply readiness.
