15 yearsJob Description : ICE CREAM HEAD TANZANIA The Ice Cream Specialist will be responsible for leading the process of product development, recipe formulation and production process implementation in the Ice Cream Division. This role involves ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency in accordance with regulatory standards and company objectives. We are looking for a professionally qualified and experienced Dairy technologist for its Ice Cream production division. Key Responsibilities: Product Development: Design and develop new products and improve existing formulations. Packaging and Raw material planning for Ice cream Quality Assurance: Monitor and test ice cream products for quality, consistency, and safety according to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FSSAI). Process Optimization: Improve manufacturing processes for better efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness. Equipment Oversight: Operate and maintain processing equipment, and assist in the installation of new machinery. Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international dairy processing regulations. Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and apply scientific research to production techniques. Documentation: Maintain accurate production and quality records, prepare reports, and participate in audits. Training: Train staff on hygiene, safety procedures, and new processing techniques. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, or related field Certification in food safety standards is a plus (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000). Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of dairy chemistry and microbiology. Familiarity with dairy processing equipment and plant operations. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
