Our mission is to provide the fastest and freshest service in the industry, leveraging cutting-edge technology and supply chain innovation. ______________ Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strong focus on dark stores and last-mile delivery of perishable goods. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, freshness assurance, and customer satisfaction in a high-speed environment. ______________ Key Responsibilities: • Supply Chain Strategy: o Develop and execute robust supply chain strategies for perishable goods in a quick commerce environment. o Design and optimize supply chain models specifically tailored to dark store operations and last-mile efficiency. • Dark Store Operations: o Oversee planning, setup, and optimization of dark stores across key markets. o Ensure best-in-class inventory management, picking processes, cold chain infrastructure, and order fulfillment speed. • Last Mile Delivery: o Lead last-mile logistics planning and execution, ensuring timely and temperature-controlled deliveries. o Build partnerships with logistics providers or in-house fleets for seamless delivery operations. • Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: o Implement advanced forecasting techniques for perishables with short shelf life. o Maintain optimal stock levels to minimize spoilage and ensure product availability. • Technology Integration: o Drive automation and digital transformation across supply chain operations. o Implement tools and systems for real-time visibility, tracking, and performance analytics. ______________ Desired Candidate Profile: • Experience: o 15–20 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with significant exposure to perishables, dark stores, and last mile delivery. o Prior experience in quick commerce, hyperlocal delivery, e-grocery, or large-scale ecommerce logistics is mandatory. • Industry Knowledge: o Deep understanding of cold chain logistics, perishables handling, and urban micro-fulfillment models. o Strong grasp of Indian geography, market dynamics, and regulatory compliance in supply chain. • Leadership & Execution: o Proven track record of leading large supply chain teams and managing operations at scale. o Hands-on, execution-driven, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset. • Education: o B.Tech/BE in Engineering or Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
