Workshop Manager

Job Description : WORKSHOP MANAGER BRAZIL Open to Portuguese speaking expats The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing the maintenance and repair of mining and earthmoving equipment, as well as experience in leading a team. Key responsibilities - Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance and repair of equipment. - Supervise and lead a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality workmanship. - Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment availability. - Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify areas for improvement. - Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and supplies. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Requirements - 15+ years of experience in managing the maintenance and repair of mining and earthmoving equipment. - Proven experience in team management and leadership. - Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Valid driver's license. - Relevant certifications or training in maintenance management and team leadership. - Advantageous: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
