Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – MINING OPERATION – EAST AFRICA small, but well managed mining operation in East Africa, to recruit a Supply Chain Manager. The incumbent will lead / head-up the Supply Chain Department and will be responsible to coordinate all purchasing activities by adherence to company policies and procedures - in order to effectively manage costs, inventory and supplier relations. especially interested to receive CVs from regional African expats from the Eastern and Southern African regions. Based at a mine site Single Status FIFO Renewable Contract Beautiful part of Africa Reasonable USD remuneration Important Requirements: 1. At minimum, must have a Bachelors’ of Science DEGREE – Supply Chain Services/Business Administration (non-negotiable) 2.Advantageous will be a Master of Science DEGREE – Supply Chain Services/Business Administration 3.CIPS certifications will be preferred 4.Must currently – or recently - have been in a similar position 5. 8 - 10 years’ work experience in a senior management position ; 15-20 years overall exp 6.Excellent analytical and evaluation skills 7.Excellent command of the English language – both oral and written communication 8.Good leadership skills 9. Proven ability to lead teams 10.Must be competent in ERP applications. 11.Excellent knowledge of the commercial regulations 12.Previous or current expat experience will be preferred
