18 yearsJob Description : HEAD ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE NIGERIA JOB DESCRIPTION JOB GRADE Lead (L-3) JOB TITLE Manager/ Lead- Electrical Maintenance JOB LOCATION Site Location/s REPORTING TO HOD BUSINESS UNIT Hydrocarbon SUB_BUSINESS_UNIT Midstream (Processing) DEPARTMENT Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-1 Operations & Maintenance SUB_DEPARTMENT Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-1 - Operations (ElectricaI Maintenance) KEY RESPONSBILITIES Lead the Power Generation/Electrical Operations team to achieve un-interrupted power generation. Leads the Electrical Maintenance team to achieve highest reliability of Electrical Equipment. Key role is to Perform Preventive Maintenance of operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, with a specific focus on 30 MW Motor Generators and 132 KV power networks and other Equipment in compliance with the OEM recommendation. Incumbent should be capable of leading the team and conduct the Major maintenance/intrusive PM jobs in house without OEM support. Develop and implement strong Preventive maintenance programs to sustain highest reliability. Develop strong team with highest Safety & Technical performance. Establish well-defined engineering procedures, best practices and applicable standards. Conversant with SAP/other ERP system for Work order management. Trouble shooting of Electrical Equipments. Root cause analysis and remedial measures. Able to guide the electrical team for proper operation of Gas Plant and to achieve zero break down policy. Able to conduct / manage technical discussions with O&M team and to contribute for day-to-day activities for safer and reliable operation of Gas Plant. Gathering and correlating basic engineering data Support Procurement process & Inventory Management Preparation of electrical drawings and specifications for new GPP expansion project Coordinate with other disciplines to determine operation requirements and deliverables. Specify and set the standards for HSE requirements in the Electrical system of GPP. Familiar with interlocks and protection of Electrical systems. Readiness to be at site based in Kwale, Delta State, Nigeria whenever necessary. Previous international experience is preferred. Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks. Effective oral and written communications and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively on O&M and GPP expansion project related issues. Must be self-motivated, results oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Strong technical expertise in 30 MW Motor Generator systems and 132 kV electrical networks Operation of Electrical Systems, MV & LV Electrical network Operation of MV Gas Engine driven Generators Hands-on Maintenance Expertice on - > HT Power Supply Network/Gas Turbines Electrical Systems/HT Motors/HT VFDs/Gas Engines (CAT, Waukesha etc.)/Maintenance of other O&G Electrical Equipment (Earthing/Lighting/UPS/Lightening Protection/Load Shedding/etc.) Safety Plant Maintenance SAP/MAPCON or similar ERP tool BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS Communication Skills Problem Solving People Management Planning & Organizing Adaptability & Flexibility QUALIFICATION Diploma/BE/B. Tech- Electrical Engineering discipline EXPERIENCE 18 - 22 CERTIFICATIONS SELECTION CRITERIA Good Safety and Process knowledge Computer skills expertise in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, SAP etc User level expertise in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook Ability to analyze DCS parameters and interpret technical presentations Ability to understand Operating procedures and flaw less implementation Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment Demonstrated ability to handle Process and Safety Emergencies Very good written and spoken English
