Job Description : HEAD MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE NIGERIA JOB DESCRIPTION JOB GRADE Lead (L-3) JOB TITLE Manager/ Lead- Mechanical Maintenance JOB LOCATION Site Location/s REPORTING TO HOD BUSINESS UNIT Hydrocarbon SUB_BUSINESS_UNIT Midstream (Processing) DEPARTMENT Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-1 Operations & Maintenance SUB_DEPARTMENT Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-1 - Operations (Mechanical Maintenance) KEY RESPONSBILITIES Develop and sustain strong Maintenance Team Rotating Equipment is responsible for leading the mechanical design, analysis, and maintenance of rotating machinery, including pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and other associated equipment Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of rotating machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability. Trouble shooting of lubrication systems, Expander, Compressors and Pumps seals system Implementation of PM Program and achieve >98% reliability. Overall Trouble shooting and maintenance rotating equipment Effective corrective maintenance. (Re-work Target Nil) Experience in lifting study, Inspection Programs, Fabrication and Assembly Knowledge, Workshop Experience Develop maintenance procedure and liaise with vendors and OEM’s to resolve technical issues Training and development of Maintenance Teams Maintenance Planning & Compliance (100% A Critical PM, >95% B Critical PM) Effective implementation of Work Permit system (Utilization of JSA, Work Permit, Hot/Cold Permit and all applicable certificates.) Tool room setup and management Raise PRs, provide technical reviews and ensure timely procurement. Lead Stock balance and ensure critical spares stock is maintained. Cost analysis and optimization, waste elimination. FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Mechanical Maintenance - 80% /Engineering& Design - 20% Hands-on Maintenance Expertice on - > Gas Turbines/HT Motors/Heavy Duty Centrifugal Compressors/Gas Engines (CAT, Waukesha etc.)/Multi Stage Centrifugal Hydro carbon Pumps/Maintenance of other O&G Mechanical Equipment (Piping, Filters, Fin Fans & Valves etc.) Plant Maintenance Programs/SAP/EPICORE or similar ERP tool Plant Inspection, Reliability Programs Basics of I&C Maintenance/Engineering Basics of Electrical Maintenance/Engineering BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS Communication Skills Problem Solving People Management Planning & Organizing Execution & Implementation QUALIFICATION Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech- Mechanical Engineering discipline EXPERIENCE 18 - 22 CERTIFICATIONS SELECTION CRITERIA Good Safety and Process knowledge Excellent communication skills User level expertise in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook Ability to analyze DCS parameters and interpret technical presentations Ability to understand Operating procedures and flaw less implementation Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment Demonstrated ability to handle Process and Safety Emergencies Very good written and spoken English
