Group Accounting Head

Job Description : HEAD OF GROUP ACCOUNTING ZURICH SWITZERLAND Open to International candidates a fast-growing and successful company in the food industry, is looking for a Head of Group Accounting. The company has different subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, offering an exciting and challenging role with plenty of room for personal and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for Group Accounting and the implementation of the consolidation process (consolidated monthly and annual financial statements) Responsibility for the preparation of the consolidated annual report in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER Support of the subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad in accounting matters in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER and local standards Coordination of external auditing Continuous development of Group Accounting and related processes, in particular the Group Accounting Manual and the internal control system Support of the Group CFO in the areas of tax, compliance and risk management Participation in other Group Finance projects, in particular M&A projects and restructurings Key Requirements: Sound business administration education (HF/FH/Uni), ideally supplemented with further training as an expert in accounting and controlling or as a certified public accountant At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable function Experienced knowledge of financial accounting and technical consolidation according to Swiss GAAP FER Solution-oriented and independent way of working with a 360-degree view Team player with a hands-on mentality and good communication skills Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment
