Senior Accountant

Job Description : SENIOR ACCOUNTANT SUPERMARKET GHANA Manage and oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance. - Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for the company. - Analyze financial data and make recommendations to improve financial performance and profitability. - Ensure accurate and timely processing of all accounting transactions. - Maintain accurate and complete financial records and documentation and optimize the utilization of the ERP for accounting and finance functions - Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax returns. - Train and supervise accounting staff to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. - Participate in the development of financial strategies and objectives for the company. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. - CPA or equivalent certification required. - Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. - Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Attention to detail and accuracy - Position is based in Lagos (Nigeria) - Reports to Finance Manager - Expat salary & living allowance, accommodation, transport offered
