Position: General Manager – Operations (Sodium Silicate Plant) Urgent Hiring for a seasoned General Manager – Operations to lead and manage the complete plant operations of a Sodium Silicate Manufacturing Unit in Africa. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership experience from a similar industry with his rich relative experience. ???? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations of the Sodium Silicate plant. • Design and implement strategic plans to drive growth. • Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize resources. • Establish SOPs and processes for productivity and compliance. • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous staff development. • Evaluate and enhance operational and financial performance. • Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards. • Present reports to the Board and Chairman regularly. • Solve complex operational issues related to cost, performance, and competition. ???? Mandatory Technical Expertise: • Hands-on experience with: • Double pass regenerative furnace (Capacity: 50+ Ton) • Coal/wood/gasifier/furnace oil/brunet systems • Soda Ash + Sand & Soda Ash + Quartz processes • Solid-only batching systems • Dissolving plant operations • Production scale: 30,000 Ton annually / 80 Ton per month ???? Qualifications: • BE Chemical / MBA in Operations / or Equivalent • 15–20+ years of experience in Sodium Silicate Manufacturing • Proven track record as General Manager / Plant Head / Factory Manager • Age range: 45–53 years ????
