The whole industrial production has to be managed by the factory manager, or they have to take care of all the features associated with a particular plant department. The safety measures have to be followed. If there are any quality related issues, the factory manager have to find out the reason and ensure that it is not repeated. A factory manager has to collaborate and meet with other managers. Liaison with the financial department is of much significance. Ensure that receiving and shipping schedules are followed accurately See to it that the workers always abide by the safety rules associated with the industry. Need to attend the scheduled corporate meetings and training. Conduct performance reviews of employees. run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers expectations Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards Be responsible for production output, product quality and on- time shipping Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime Commit to plant safety procedures Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices Follow up on the production plan and production operations Supervising the maintenance operations of machines Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs Recruit, train and supervise staff Liaise with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
