Job Description : Operation Manager /Plant Manager JOB LOCATION: Site Location- Nigeria Experience- 18 -22 Years KEY RESPONSBILITIES: 1. Initiate and setup op+B11:E29eration department. 2. Support commissioning the plant and takeover. 3. Develop annual operating plan. 4. Lead the team in all activities to ensure effective, efficient, healthy, environment friendly and safe operation. 5. Promote safety culture and provide required training, PPE and safety tools in order to ensure total safety. 6. PTW and LOTO system development and implementation. Implementation of ERP for operation department. 7. Train staff. Initiate internal training program for O&M. Provide each team member with clear objectives and responsibilities. 8. Prepare and implement SOPs, Log books, Log sheets, reporting system, and equipment changeover schedule and check lists. 9. Operation department budget preparation and monitoring expenditure. Energy auditing and Auxiliary power consumption optimization. 10. Highlight any defects in the plant design or installation or drawing and propose modifications that can improve the plant performance and availability or reduce O&M cost. 11. Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high Performance amongst team members. 12. Develop plant performance monitoring protocol and regular monitoring of plant equipment's. 13. Safe and Efficient plant operation, Strategic Startup and Shutdown Planning, Problem solving. Troubleshooting and Incident Analysis. 14. Establish and maintain communication with electricity board, grid management authorities, fuel supplier, utilities. 15. Develop MIS for operations department. Functional Skills : 1. Captive power plant without grid connection experience will be an added advantage. 2. Advance class gas turbine experience preferably Siemens make. 3. Commissioning experience of CPP. 4. Acute sense of EHS * Certifications: 1. Any Management, BOE, Energy Management. 2. Must have 4-5 years experiance as operation manager in more than 1000 MW CCPP.
