Operations and Supply Chain Director

Job Description : DIRECTOR OPERATIONS AND SUPPLY CHAIN EUROPE Open to International candidates The Dmart Operations & Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Dmart operations and supply chain activities across Europe, Turkey, and APAC (>300 stores and >10 DC). This includes overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to optimize Dmart operations and managing the supply chain to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities: · Develop and implement strategies to optimize Dmart operations across Europe, Turkey, and APAC. · Oversee the management of Dmart facilities, including dark stores and DCs. · Ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements. · Manage the supply chain to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness. · Develop and maintain relationships with Ops suppliers and DC / logistics providers. · Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. · Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Dmart operations and supply chain management. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially the Commercial team) to ensure seamless integration of Dmart operations with other business functions. · Manage and develop a team of Dmart operations and supply chain professionals. Qualifications: · 20+ years of experience in dark stores or offline retail operations and supply chain management across different countries. · Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field · Strong leadership and management skills. · Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and operational improvements. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans. · Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in Dmart operations and supply chain management. · Fluency in English.
