Job Description : GROUP CFO FRENCH WEST AFRICA This is for French company looking to hire International candidates for their activities in French speaking Africa Candidate must be CA, 20 years experience, be French speaker and come with at least 10 years of work experience in Francophone countries The Group CFO reports to the Chief Executive Officer and has the overall responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the following activities: • Provide executive management advice on all financial activities and implications for the Group • Oversee the financial operations of the Group, including foreign entities • Manage the Group’s accounting departments and implement best practices • Report on financial performance and results to the board of directors • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting and consolidated reporting to the Group • Make recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and seize business opportunities • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team to promote and enhance the Group’s value • Manage and mitigate key elements of the Group’s risk profile • Report risk issues to the risk monitoring committee and to the board of directors • Maintain a relationship with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations • Share and collaborate with the Group’s employees • Align personal objectives with the Group’s objectives • Assist accounting team as and when required • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations • Provide prompt and efficient customer service to internal and external customers • Foster constructive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
