Job Description : FINANCE OPERATIONS DIRECTOR BARCELONA SPAIN Open to Spanish speakers worldwide The role involves overseeing and performing the accurate and timely processing of securities transactions, payments, and reconciliations for investment operations. It requires managing complex client processes, acting as a subject matter expert, and supporting strategic projects and internal initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Process, post, and clear securities transactions and income payments. Manage month-end closing activities and account reconciliations. Resolve complex operational issues and ensure service quality. Act as a subject matter expert on projects and client-specific demands. Provide and monitor KPIs to support business performance. Train team members and improve internal controls. Lead or support departmental projects and initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or Accounting (Master's preferred). 15+ years in Investment Operations, Financial Markets, or related areas. Knowledge of asset classes, financial instruments, and market risks. CFA or equivalent certification is highly valued. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and client-focused mindset. Experience with SAP Treasury and financial systems is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop teams.
