General Manager

Job Description : GM FOOD MANUFACTURING SINGAPORE A leading food manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced individual with plant and operation experience to be a General Manager to lead the food manufacturing engineering and production team for a factory. Job Description · As the General Manager of 2 factories, you will lead and develop the factory operations, be accountable for overall factory operation performance, including budget and costing management. · Develop business strategy plan working closely with quality, supply chain and engineering department to achieve short and long-term financial and operation growth. · Lead the day to day production activities to ensure daily productivity output through effective manpower, raw materials/food ingredients, food manufacturing processes management. · Lead the factory warehouse and material planning activities to ensure effective flow of resources and raw materials to production daily. · Lead factory operations to ensure SOP compliance and constantly ensure quality standards are met without compromising the quality of products. · Oversee the process of raw material quality from suppliers to ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standard. · Collaborate closely with quality department to support for any customer complaints on food quality matters and propose appropriate business resolution. · Ensure factory facility including production equipment and machinery are well-maintained to meet productivity target. · Lead effective implementation of automation technology in food processing and packaging to improve productivity target. · Device continuous improvement projects with the engineering team to increase productivity, quality and improve cycle time and cost. · Ensure workplace safety compliance at all time within the factory and all activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Successful Applicant · Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. · Minimum 10 years of food manufacturing experience with proven track record in food factory production/operation. Senior Managers in Production/Operation experience are encouraged to apply for this role. · Strong leadership skill and strong business acumen with P&L management. · Strong communication skill to manage stakeholders including internal management and external vendors.
