Job Description : General Manager - Edible Oil Refinery KENYA Industry: Edible Oil Refinery Experience: 20-30 years (with at least 5 years as Head of Operations in an oil refinery) Summary of the role: Overall responsibility and accountability for the Manufacturing and Production function of Khopoli Oil Refinery, which will include people and budgetary management. Overall Purpose of role : Strategic Implementation: - Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals. - Drive operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work closely with internal and external stakeholders. - Provide technical support and strive for best practices. Leadership and Motivation: - Inspire and mentor teams to achieve excellence. - Provide clear vision and direction. Performance Metrics: - Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across manufacturing functions. - Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Health, Safety, and Environment: - Prioritize HSE issues. - Implement Lean Business strategies and drive continuous improvement.
