Project Head

Job Description : PROJECT HEAD AUSTRALIA Open to International candidates with 25+ years experience Amongst one of the most recognised FMCG manufacturers globally, this organisation is a market leader and is looking for a Project Manager (Essentially the head of project) to lead a major transformation project of the company based in Sydney. This is a senior management position. Your new role Working alongside with multiple functions such as production, quality, engineering, etc. Undertake the phases, activities and tasks within specified time, cost, safety and quality constraints to deliver the required project outcome. Initiate, define, manage and monitor the progress, alignment, quality and continuity of various multidisciplinary projects Formulate the project plan (including resourcing, planning, risk mitigation, quality control and organizational requirements), determine budget and acquire approval, in line with project objectives. Execute project, coordinate the activities of the project team members, monitor progress of project and compliance with the project plan, manage and mitigate project risks and resources, create risk awareness among stakeholders, manage stage-gates and adjust project plan when necessary. Managing the approval of all project change requests Assess and select suppliers, possible partners and other relevant organizations, based on agreed project requirements and build and maintain relationships with them Functionally lead, coach, develop members of the own project team, and give input for appraisal What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 10 years of experience project execution in manufacturing industry – ideally in the Food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Process Industry Experienced in greenfield / brownfield roles Exceptional skills of engineering projects execution with a track record of delivering high quality projects in a manufacturing environment Experience of working in an International and multi-cultural environment Strong cross cultural communication skills (an ability to communicate project deliverables and specifics to local workforce as well as communicating progress to European key stakeholders) Leadership & influencing skills Knowledge of engineering standards for installation of process and packing equipment. English – Fluent with ability to participate in technical discussion.
