Job Description : COO SINGAPORE Company is a well established and large oil and gas conglomerate with global footprints across many markets and offers a wide range of products and solutions. Job Description * Reporting to the CEO and Executive Director, the COO holds full responsibility for managing the Group's entities, including but not limited to Bunkering, Trading and Shipping activities. * Formulate sound and actionable business strategies, optimize organizational structures and implement efficient operational systems and processes to effectively grow the business. * Establish performance and growth indicators to benchmark for the effectiveness of strategies. * Plan, implement and manage entire company operations in particular on Middle Office, Payment and Accounting, ensuring business objectives are met * Manage and analyse the daily report of data and performance to the CEO and Executive Director in all matters of importance. * Responsible for developing compliance and due diligence processes and procedures across the business. * Day to day management of all operations personnel and activities across the Group's operating entities to improve the overall cost efficiency. * Oversight of the Group's operational structure and development of new internal operations structure in coordination with senior management. * Any other duties as assigned by the CEO and Executive Director from time to time. The Successful Applicant *Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or Mathematics. *Minimum 10 years' of relevant work experience in major oil trading house, holding senior management positions. Proven track record in the capacity of COO or other relevant roles is a strong plus. * Solid analytical mindset with attention to detail and great ability to drive teams to achieve outcomes * Excellent leadership, communication and reporting skills to the senior management team. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with a handson mentality * Strong working knowledge of trading PnL and exposure calculations as well as trade finance knowledge on trading * Good organisation and time management skills * Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
