Job Description : Commercial Finance Business Partner/Controller Location: Dubai My client is a global leader in their field. Due to continued growth they a looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner/Controller for their Dubai business. Reporting directly into the local General Manager and a dotted line into the European Chief Financial Officer you will be the Number 1 for Finance locally. You will collaborate closely with project managers and operational teams to oversee financial performance across major contracts and developments, ensuring accurate forecasting of costs, margins, and profitability. You will lead the budgeting and reforecasting processes, ensuring they align with project timelines, resource planning, and broader commercial objectives. A key part of the role involves delivering detailed commercial analysis, offering insights into cost trends, subcontractor performance, procurement efficiency, and contract variations. You will proactively identify financial and commercial risks, working with stakeholders to develop effective mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will support investment appraisals through ROI analysis and scenario modelling for new developments or infrastructure projects. The role also includes producing regular financial reports and dashboards to communicate project KPIs and variances to senior leadership. Candidates must be Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience in a project-focused financial environment.
