Job Description : GM CONTAINER PORT TERMINAL ob Description As General Manager of a Container Port Terminal M/F, you will have the following responsibilities: 1. Operational management Supervise and ensure the smooth flow of terminal operations (Transshipment and Import/Export of containers) Plan and control OPEX/CAPEX Supervise the deployment of the TOS (Navis or other) Supervise maintenance operations 2. Human resources management Promote a positive work climate and safety culture Supervise teams (Operations, technical, Finance, HR, etc.) Oversee the development of training schedules and support talent development 3. Performance monitoring Supervise, implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): productivity, layover time, occupancy rate, safety, etc. Supervise, prepare and analyze monthly activity reports and balance sheets 4. Financial management Supervise, prepare and manage the terminal's annual budget Control operating costs and suggest optimizations 5. Customer relations and external coordination Be the key contact for customers (shipowners) Respond to regulatory audits and inspections 6. Quality, safety, environment (QSE) Ensure compliance with applicable standards Manage risk prevention actions Manage emergency situations (accidents, breakdowns, bad weather, etc.) The Successful Applicant Minimum 15 years of experience in port management, including 5 years as CEO or 10 years as COO (Head of Operations) in container terminals with a volume of more than 1 million TEUs Fluency in French and English (required) Ability to unite teams and manage complex situations Interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
