Job Description : Plant Finance Lead Department: Finance Reporting To: CFO EMEA Location: Dubai I. Purpose of the Role To lead the finance and commercial operations of a newly established pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Dubai. This position involves managing the financial aspects from the initial project stageincluding capex management during construction and installation—through to ongoing factory operations post-commercialization (targeted in 2025). Key focus areas include accounting, manufacturing finance, and product costing. II. Role Responsibilities ResponsibilityObjectiveLead capex accounting for the factory projectEnsure accurate capitalization as per contract terms to align with project capex funding.Finance lead for SAP implementationEnsure FICO module implementation aligns with group accounting policies, with seamless integration across modules.Drive annual budgeting and forecasting for the factoryProvide accurate product cost inputs to commercial teams for short- and long-term planning.Oversee monthly and annual financial closings in SAPEnsure completeness and accuracy of manufacturing P&L reporting.Manage finance and commercial operations at the factoryMaintain strong cost controls to deliver efficient production.Oversee working capital managementMonitor inventory and payables; drive initiatives to improve net working capital.Ensure compliance with regulatory authoritiesEliminate compliance risks and meet all statutory obligations.Lead statutory year-end auditCoordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audit closure.
