Job Description : Construction General Manager Job Type : permanent ( Company Payroll) Job Location : Kenya (East Africa) Benefits: Food Allowances, Accommodation, and Visa arranged by company Job Summery : Candidates must possess the following qualifications: Ø A minimum of a bachelors degree in civil Engineering, construction management, Architecture or a related field. A masters degree in a relevant discipline will be advantageous. Ø At least 15-20 years experience in the construction Industry in managerial roles overseeing construction of high rise buildings (16 floors and above) Ø Experience in leading and coordinating multiple large scale construction projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals Ø Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation. Familiarity with project management software is essential. Ø In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials and technologies, particularly those relevant to high rise residential developments. Ø Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards applicable to high rise constructions. Ø Ability to lead, mentor and motivate diverse teams fostering a collaborative and high - performance work environment. Ø Skilled in managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers,regulatory bodies and other stakeholders. Ø Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a track record of making informed decisions under pressure.
