Aftersales Manager

Job Description : MINING AFTERSALES MANAGER – MINING EQUIPMENT – AFRICA We have partnered with a well-known distributor of premium heavy machinery and parts (used in the mining, quarrying, construction, roadworks, recycling, transportation, and agricultural industries) to recruit a Mining Aftersales Manager. **Based in a premium location in the Gulf States **Regular travel into Africa **Expat remuneration The incumbent will oversee and will be responsible for the implementation of the after-sales strategy in order to guarantee the achievement of results (parts and services) in line with the specific objectives defined by the company. In essence the incumbent will guarantee client satisfaction by maximizing fleet availability and optimizing fleet life cycle cost (or total cost of ownership - TCO). Capability Requirements: 1. Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma or Technical Artisan qualification/s (as a minimum) 2. Prior industry experience of at least 10 years+ 3. NOT NEGOTIABLE: Excellent technical and commercial experience with KOMATSU Mining and Construction Equipment. Must have currently or recently been employed in a similar role with a Komatsu distributor 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 5. Must have Africa expat experience and must be willing to regularly travel into the African territories of the company + Ability to develop trusted relationships with customers, OEMs and other relevant stakeholders 6. Excellent knowledge of equipment distribution and spare parts 7. Well-honed negotiation skills. Organized, rigorous and pragmatic. Initiative and results-oriented 8. Ability to build a short, mid & long-term strategy to ensure continuous business growth & profitability 9. Skill and knowledge of mining asset maintenance management especially mobile machinery
