Financial Controller

Job Description : FC KENYA 15+ years experience Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for senior management and external stakeholders. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor variances and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements. Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth. Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives from a financial perspective. Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Utilize financial systems and tools to improve reporting and decision-making.
