Head of Application Security

Job Description : HEAD OF APPLICATION SECURITY LONDON UK Role is open to International candidates In this role you’ll be working closely with Engineering, SRE, and Product teams to help embed risk-conscious technical security controls in their services and products, development workflows and activities. What will you be doing?: You’ll act as a subject matter expert on the domain of application security, run Threat Modelling exercises with the engineering teams, and work on cloud native security tooling, automating our work, and leveraging infrastructure of code. Bringing your experience of writing and reviewing code, with a strong interest in security you will facilitate and manage security testing workflows in the SDLC with code and runtime security scanners and vulnerability testing tools, whilst enabling cloud security governance (AWS, GCP) with security monitoring, cloud security posture and vulnerability management. This role sits in the Security Architecture and Engineering (SANE) team within their Cyber Security team. They're a small team of cyber security experts enabling my client's business, product and engineering teams to build and operate our platforms and offering securely.
